'Sulgrave Manor is just 13 miles from Shutlanger and are looking for enthusiastic people to join their team of friendly volunteers. Sulgrave is steeped in history and are on the hunt for House Volunteers, Garden Volunteers and Learning Engagement Volunteers.
House Volunteers bring that heritage to life for the visitors during opening season (Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, 1st April- 30th September). They would love for volunteers to offer one day a week or fortnight for the open season.
Garden Volunteers assist the Head Gardner in developing and maintaining Sulgrave's eclectic grounds. They are looking for a team of volunteers on every day of the week Monday- Friday, 10-3.
Learning Engagement Volunteers assist the team with both the schools programme and activities for school holidays and open seasons. This role is really flexible and can suit your needs as well as theirs.
All roles are suitable for anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in history and gardens, no experience necessary, all training given. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer in groups or pairs.
